Dear Member, Washington State Unclaimed Property Law requires accounts that have no activity or contact within one year, be classified as INACTIVE<\/strong>. Accounts remaining on an inactive status for a second year will be classified as DORMANT<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The State Law requires that accounts which have been inactive and unclaimed for three (3) years be escheated to the State Controller\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n We will attempt to contact you by mail 90 days prior to your account reaching one year inactive. If we do not receive a reply or some kind of account activity your account will be subject to a $5.00 monthly, non-refundable charge until we receive contact from you.<\/p>\n Your account can be placed as ACTIVE<\/strong> by making a withdrawal or deposit, or by contacting us with your request to do so. You can submit your request in writing, over the phone, or by stopping in our office.
